ZERO TOLERANCE FOR MESS | TOWNWIDE SWEEP LAUNCHED
CAINTA, Rizal — The local government of Cainta under the leadership of Mayor Keith Nieto has launched “Tapat Ko, Sagot Ko,” also known as the Townwide Sweep, a municipality-wide cleanliness and discipline program aimed at making Cainta one of the cleanest and most organized towns in the country by 2026.
The initiative encourages active participation from residents and business owners, stressing responsibility over proper waste disposal, pet management, illegal parking, tree maintenance, and other community-related concerns within their immediate surroundings.
Under the program, accountability is divided between residential and commercial areas, with inspection teams conducting regular checks across barangays. To support the effort, nine street-sweeping trucks are deployed daily on major roads, alongside a structured garbage collection schedule.
The LGU has also formed the Townwide Sweep Team, which operates daily to remove debris and bulky waste in subdivisions—items not usually collected by regular garbage trucks.
Officials said the program is designed to promote discipline, shared responsibility, and community cooperation, reinforcing the goal of a cleaner, safer, and more orderly Cainta. For News Video Click: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/16egWFr3SZ/
