Marikina City Police hold feeding program for persons under police custody

The Marikina City Police Station conducted a feeding program for Persons Under Police Custody (PUPC) on January 12, 2026, starting at around 11:00 a.m., at the Custodial Facility Unit in Barangay Sta. Elena, Marikina City.

The activity was spearheaded by the station’s Community Affairs Development Unit, under the initiative of PCOL Jenny DC Tecson, Officer-in-Charge of the Marikina City Police Station. The program aimed to promote humanitarian service, ensure the welfare of individuals under police custody, and reaffirm the Philippine National Police’s commitment to compassion, dignity, and respect for human rights.

Police officials said the initiative forms part of the station’s continuing efforts to strengthen community-oriented policing, emphasizing that law enforcement goes beyond maintaining peace and order and includes caring for individuals under their responsibility.

The Marikina City Police Station reiterated its dedication to serving and protecting the community, while fostering trust, empathy, and social responsibility through meaningful and people-centered initiatives.
