Higher minimum prizes aim to boost excitement, attract more players, and fund health and social programs nationwide

MANILA — Lottery players can now chase bigger dreams as the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) rolls out significantly higher starting jackpots for its major lotto games beginning February 1, 2026, promising larger prizes and more thrilling draws.

Under the agency’s updated prize structure, minimum jackpots across key lotto games have been increased, with the Ultra Lotto 6/58 leading the jump at an eye-catching ₱75 million starting pot.

Here are the new base jackpots:

  • Lotto 6/42 – ₱10 million

  • Mega Lotto 6/45 – ₱15 million

  • Super Lotto 6/49 – ₱25 million

  • Grand Lotto 6/55 – ₱45 million

  • Ultra Lotto 6/58 – ₱75 million

PCSO clarified that the progressive jackpot system remains in place, meaning prizes will continue to grow when no bettor matches all six winning numbers — potentially pushing winnings even higher in subsequent draws.

According to Melquiades Robles, PCSO General Manager, the increase is designed to make each draw more exciting while offering better value to players, even with a slight adjustment in ticket prices.

“Our goal is to make every draw more thrilling and rewarding for the public,” Robles said, noting that higher jackpots also encourage stronger participation.

Beyond entertainment, the agency emphasized that increased ticket sales translate to larger funding for PCSO’s charitable initiatives, including medical assistance, health services, and other social welfare programs for Filipinos in need.

PCSO also reminded the public to play responsibly and to check results only through authorized PCSO outlets and official channels.

With jackpots now reaching tens of millions from day one, players nationwide may find the odds more tempting — and the stakes higher than ever.
